John 12:46 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

It was Sunday of 14 July 2005, I was an invitee to attend Jesus is Lord Sunday Worship Service in my hometown, a Christian fellowship at a very first time. Everyone, including my mentor “Joven Cambonga” who invited me, gatekeepers and the entire congregation vibrantly and warmly welcomed me by shaking hands, waving at me and smiling with their lips wide open. What a blessed day! I straightaway felt a big difference in my experience at that very moment.

When the below first stanza of the solemn song entitled “Here I Am To Worship” has been sung led by a worship leader which became my one of my favorite songs and the verses are the following:

Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You

There was something anew occurrence happened in my life compared to where I am previously attending. There was an unexplainable touched, embraced of comfort and the tears started flooding my eyes, flowing to my chicks and run down to my neck. The cry was a released to the pain of my struggles, sufferings, difficulties and agony of my dark days and all were instantly emancipated that time. Then the next verses continue;

Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God

You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

Well, I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

The more the song was preceded to next verses of the song, the further I sensed and see more of myself that I am an unforgivable sinner. The lyrics “Light of the World, you stepped down into darkness,” was I’m allowing Jesus Christ as the Light of the World reflects me more of my sins. I clearly seen sin in my life not discouraged but to humble trusting Him and to depend in His righteousness since we are sinners (Romans 3:23) The Light of the World reveals the dirt part inside my heart. In that instant, my heart soften, cleansed, purified and transformed by the power of God’s love. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. (Psalm 145:8). My perception of being an unforgivable creature was proven wrong instead I was known to be most valuable and costly in God's sight because I am pardoned, justified and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.I was once lost and finally found. By God’s grace, from that day I greatly rejoiced in the Lord and glad for I’m belong to Him. Most importantly, I became a child of the King of kings and Lord of lords – Jesus Christ who stepped down into darkness and opened my eyes, let me see the beauty that made this heart adore Him and hope of a life spent with Him.

Light dispels darkness, God is light and desires you to reflect that lights that shines brilliantly by His power and presence. So that darkness of all peoples surrounding you dispelled and displaced by the light of Gods glory.

Therefore, let God’s light radiantly shine unhindered through your life. Matthew 5:15-16 14“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

God bless you beyond measure.
