Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Matthew 6:25

You are not alone; my family as well is at the current situation. On 27 January at 3:00 o’clock of dawn, my wife woke me up as my son scheduled to take medicine for fever as his temperature is intensifying. I wasn’t able to sleep again and God guided me to read all four devotionals and the same correlated each other and have helped me in calming me about our difficult times.

First, God taught me NOT to WORRY (Matthew 6:25) despite of sufferings. The frontlines of our threatening circumstances are not about clothes, food, money, friends, etc. The primary concern must be our Relationship to God not about how we are going to liveRemember, Matthew 13:22 illuminates that the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and the lust for other thing will choke our life of God in us. It doesn’t mean to neglect our necessities but careful of those things that concern our life competing us in putting our relationship to God first.

Secondly, God knows your needs, feelings and everything about you. But He is reaching out His hand to help us in time of need. The Bible proves that in Psalm 63:7-8 “7Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.I cling to you; your right hand upholds me. Life can be painful at tough times, yet God is present and offers comforting hand in the midst of it for divine help and support.

Thirdly, God wants us to be reiterated that there is a positive aspect that our suffering to some degree will frame us to become like Jesus. Don’t resent the suffering God allowed in your life. God did not spare His own Son. How can we expect him to spare us? Learn obedience even when it hurts.

Jesus the sinless Son of God was complete only after He had endured the suffering that the Father had set before Him. Once He had suffered, He was complete, mature, perfect Savior through whom the entire world find salvation. We all benefit in the obedience of Jesus Christ in the cross of Calvary. Hallelujah!
